Concert – Sunday in the Park – July 23rd Noon-4pm

A long standing Rose Park Neighborhood tradition! Spending a Sunday afternoon at our Rose Park (8th & Orizaba). This year featuring folk group Brother Pines, joined by their opening band. Council Member Jeannine Pearce is co-hosting and will be on hand – officiating at the water balloon toss!

Sunday July 23rd from Noon to 4pm. We have planned:

Potato Sack Races – officiated by Rebuilding Together LB, the group that implemented ‘Light the Night’ around the park.

Watermelon Eating Contest – organized by SAFE Refuge – who are known watermelon eating competitors!

Water Balloon Toss – Council Member Pearce does the honors at the Toss.

Also – a  Games Area with bocci ball and bean bag toss. So start putting together your family teams!

Just across the street – blocked off between Orizaba and Gladys will be the 8th St. Block Party.  Gather there to meet neighbors and get some wonderful treats catered by Red Leprechaun.
