Work has started on re-paving 7th St. The cones and no parking signs up. You’ll that they’ve covered the street cleaning signs on the sides streets. Oops, this means people who park on 7th will be parking during the day and night on our side streets. And, you thought you couldn’t find a parking place…
Volunteer with us on Saturday, January 13th from 9AM to 1PM for MLK Jr., Day of Service. This year, we will come together with our Rose Park and Bluff Heights Neighborhood families to support Horace Mann Elementary and the surrounding community for a school and neighborhood clean-up. Last week more ‘tending’ along E7th. A truck load of mulch from Office of Sustainability was delivered (i.e. 12 brown trash cans worth) with 3 RPN Treekeepers on hand to place in tree wells between Walnut to Cherry. Just to note the E7th Trees are tended by all 4 adjacent neighborhoods – this just happened…
Advisory: In light of Colorado shooting incident, LBPD will provide additional police patrols around movie theaters. In light of the multiple victim shooting incident in Colorado and as a precaution, the Long Beach Police Department is in communication with management/security at movie theaters located in the City of Long Beach, and will be providing additional…
