Volunteer to Observe Distracted Driving in Long Beach
The Long Beach Health Department is conducting the city’s Bi-annual RoadwatchLB to observe drivers at intersections across Long Beach to collect data on distracted driving. The collected data will be shared with local and statewide partners with the goal of raising awareness in our community and make our roads safer for everyone. By volunteering your time, you’re helping City staff collect valuable data that will help us continue to develop strategies to prevent the incidence of death and injury caused by distracted driving in Long Beach.
When:
Volunteers are invited to collect data on:
Tuesday August 22nd, 2023
7:00 AM – 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
&
Saturday August 26th, 2023
9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Where:
Those interested can choose from 5 locations throughout Long Beach to volunteer their time.
