Intellectual Virtues Academy High School is a public charter school in Long Beach that creates a community where high schoolers can explore, make connections with their own and larger community, and where each student can belong as their authentic selves.

Ridgewood Triangle volunteers gather with 13 bags of trash

Donna Bergeron-Birge of Ridgewood Triangle Neighborhood Association organizes a clean-up twice a month along the corridor of San Antonio and Orange Streets. After the trash is collected, the bags are counted and weighed and volunteers feel a sense of accomplishment in helping to clean up an area that is frequently littered with trash.
