Perhaps you attended one of our previous events in Rose Park Neighborhood. Well, did you know that the art component of each event is ArtWorksLBC; a community benefit project of Rose Park Neighborhood Association? The mission of ArtWorksLBC is to create opportunities for neighbors to connect, build community and foster healthy neighborhoods through art wellness and collaborative activity.

Mosaic artist, community builder and Long Beach resident, Dawn Mendelson leads the art workshops. Previous workshops included mosaic art projects, zine workshops, and mini-skate ramp builds with community organizations such as Power4Youth, Safe Refuge, Mental Health America, and Action Sports Kids Foundation.
