NEIGHBORHOOD CLEAN-UP

ROSE PARK NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION BOARD ELECTIONS

The Rose Park Neighborhood Association (RPNA) Board met on Tuesday, May 28th to elect new board positions and welcome new members.
After 10 years of serving as President of Rose Park Neighborhood Association, Gretchen Swanson announced that she will stay on as a board member, but will no longer serve as President. Throughout her time as President of RPNA, Gretchen has worked to identify the needs of residents, voice their concerns, and provide informative meetings and events for neighbors. Gretchen has prioritized the health and safety of residents, pedestrian and bicycle safety, food security and care for older adults. She has built relationships with local nonprofits to ensure available resources for residents and collaborated with local artists, businesses and public agencies to connect and strengthen our community through art. We are grateful for her dedication to Rose Park Neighborhood.
The board meeting included a review of the bylaws, and the board members voted unanimously to elect the following individuals as the new board officers :
President-Danielle Potter Dague, Secretary-Chris Robson and Treasurer-Jose Quintanilla.  RPNA also brought on two new members: Tracy Ames and Adelita Lopez, and board members Sylvia Salcedo and Gretchen Swanson will continue to serve Rose Park Neighborhood. More details on board members with photos will be forthcoming. During the meeting, the RPNA Board reviewed its mission (link) and alignment with the current priorities and needs of residents.
RPNA will continue its clean-up efforts, health and wellness programs, community building projects with ArtWorksLBC and Roses for Rose Park, and continue its focus on pedestrian and bicycle safety.  Find fun and meaningful ways to become involved in your neighborhood @RoseParkLB  or email us at info@RPNA.org
