Stroll an Historic Neighborhood!

Craftsman Village

Established 1992 Craftsman Village Historic District is one of the oldest historic districts in Long Beach. During the tour, you will be able to see examples of the different types of bungalows that make up the fabric of this unique neighborhood. There will be an opportunity to tour two of the homes in the district, one of which was a home moved from American Ave. in the 1940’s and was formerly owned by a member of the Bixby family. A reception at Craftsman Village Park at 851 Orange Ave. following the tour will include refreshments.  Members of LB Heritage will join us at the park to tour the park. Craftsman Village Park has been nominated for a LB Heritage Award.
