TREE YOURSELF

Long Beach Office of Sustainability is supporting the growth of Long Beach’s urban forest through their tree planting programs. Long Beach residents can have a tree planted in their parkway and/or a fruit tree planted in their front yard for FREE. More information HERE.

We also want to thank all of our motivated CA Clean Air Day volunteers who participated last weekend to clean up the Dawson and 7th Street lot, trash was collected from tree wells , volunteers mulched and pruned our ever important trees along 7th Street!

Thanks to those who bought local and supported our partner Long Beach Farms on Sunday for the produce box pick up!

We are grateful to partner with the City of Long Beach Environmental Services Bureau and Development Services to host a Clean Air 4 Me virtual zoom on CA Clean Air Day Wednesday, October 7th.

This Saturday, October 10th from 11am to 12pm, AOC7 Neighborhood Group will host a composting at home and bike safety workshop. Follow AOC7 on Facebook or Instagram @aocseven for the zoom link.
