WHAT’S UP WITH THE ROUNDABOUTS?

Rose Park Neighborhood Association and Public Works are working together to address the signage issues at the roundabout locations on Temple and 6th and Obispo & 6th Street. Rose Park Neighborhood Association was informed by the Public Works Engineering Bureau that new signage (pictured below) will be installed on all approaches to the traffic circle at Temple Avenue & 6th Street. Residents can also find similar treatments along the 15th Street bicycle boulevard. The plan for these improvements was forwarded to the Traffic Operations Division, and they will be creating a Work Order shortly for expedited installation. A similar plan for the intersection of Obispo Avenue & 6th Street will be installed soon.

After signage is installed, Rose Park Neighborhood Association will be working with residents, the Office of Sustainability and Long Beach Utilities to replenish the landscaping with new plants and trees.
